Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP)

At Anchor for Growth, we are a Georgia-certified provider of the Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP). Our program is designed to break the cycle of family and relationship violence by teaching accountability, nonviolent communication, and healthier relationship skills.

Participation in this program is often court-ordered, but it can also be a voluntary step for individuals seeking to improve their lives and relationships.

About the Program

  • Length: 24 weeks (one session per week)

  • Format: Group-based, interactive sessions led by a certified facilitator

  • Duration: Each class is 90 minutes

  • Letter of Completion: Issued upon successful completion of all sessions

The FVIP is not anger management—it is a specialized program that addresses beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to violence and controlling actions in relationships.
