Georgia Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP)
At Anchor for Growth, we are a Georgia-certified provider of the Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP). Our program is designed to break the cycle of family and relationship violence by teaching accountability, nonviolent communication, and healthier relationship skills.
Participation in this program is often court-ordered, but it can also be a voluntary step for individuals seeking to improve their lives and relationships.
About the Program
Length: 24 weeks (one session per week)
Format: Group-based, interactive sessions led by a certified facilitator
Duration: Each class is approximately 90 minutes
Certificate of Completion: Issued upon successful completion of all sessions
The FVIP is not anger management—it is a specialized program that addresses beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to violence and controlling actions in relationships.
